Mark Cachia

Grasping the opportunity to combine his extensive experience in the financial industry with the technological know-how and access in the blockchain industry of Ed Hesse, Gavin Wood, and Aeron Buchanan, Mark founded Scytale Ventures in 2017 and launched his first Venture Fund, Scytale Horizon. Prior to that in 2015, Mark co-founded and managed wealth management firm Infinity Capital, A.S., which managed hedge funds, private equity, and venture investments. Mark spent 12 years at Erste Group Bank managing billions of dollars in direct, hedge fund, and private equity investments as Head of Alternative Investments, with offices in Vienna, London, and New York. From 2000 to 2003, he served as vice president at Hennessee Group LLC, advising clients on their hedge fund portfolios. Mark started his career on Wall Street in 1994, as an institutional bond broker and trader at Garban International, now part of ICAP.
Mark has proven his added value and impact as an investor and now advises the Web 3 Foundation, the Energy Web Foundation, and Ocean Protocol.
Christoph Kampitsch

Christoph worked throughout his almost 30 year long career in various functions for Erste Group Vienna. He started as an executive assistant for the CEO before he gained experience in various departments like Controlling, Accounting and Interest Rate Risk Management. For more than 10 years he built the Alternative Investment Division together with Mark into a respected European player with almost USD 2bn under management. During that time the team launched multiple products with focus on Emerging Markets. After that he became the Head of Product Development and Sales leading teams in Vienna and London. After a short stint in helping the Chief Risk Officer to sell off a portfolio of non-performing loans, he headed the Private Wealth Management department.

Ewald Hesse
Ceo & Founder Grid Singularity | Chairman Of Energy Web Foundation
Ewald is chair of the Energy Web Foundation. He is also co-founder and CEO of Grid Singularity, rooted in his extensive experience in the energy sector and acute interest in distributed business models, and serves as an advisor to blockchain investment firm Scytale Ventures and several start-ups.
Ewald previously worked as regional director for business development and strategy in Southeast Europe at Andritz Hydro. Earlier in his career he worked in business development for ABB and prior to that explored technology transfer and joint ventures in China and European automobile sectors at Metzler.
He holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and Project Management from the University of Konstanz, Germany
Dr Gavin Wood
Co-Founder Ethereum | Founder Polkadot
Before founding Parity Technologies, he was CTO and Co-founder of the Ethereum project, he co-designed, formalised, and implemented the Ethereum Protocol, created the Whisper Protocol, and devised the DEVp2p network protocol, the Solidity programming language and Mix IDE.
Gavin received his PhD in Computer Science from the University of York.

Dr. Aeron Buchanan
Co-Founder Parity Technologies
Vice President of WEB3 Foundation, co-founder of Parity Technologies and Grid Singularity, currently developing the consensus platform (blockchain) technology for enterprise and institutional applications. Previously, he worked as Researcher and Regulatory Compliance Expert at the Ethereum Foundation, and served as their COO.
Aeron earned his Robotics PhD in the field of Computer Vision from the University of Oxford.
